Princeton Satellite Systems is seeking a software engineer to help develop innovative applications, particularly Java web services, in the area of aerospace and defense. You'll work on a small team with experienced aerospace engineers to maintain and upgrade our existing applications and develop new software based on cutting-edge research and development.

This person will be responsible primarily for designing and building the electrical systems for SunStation, an electric vehicle charging station. This will include designing the power systems which involves integrating solar panels, MPPTs, inverter and battery management systems.
Other tasks are designing the power drive systems for 3 phase motors and designing satellite electronics.

Our interns work on technical research programs involving spacecraft guidance, navigation and control systems. Candidates should have a background in control and spacecraft dynamics. Experience writing MATLAB, C++, and/or Java software is desirable and will be a substantial part of the job.
Interns work on challenging cutting edge projects. Interns will work with staff engineers and have the opportunity to make significant contributions. Interns co-author technical papers and sometimes even go to conferences! Interns who have worked at Princeton Satellite Systems are now professors at MIT, software engineers at Apple, spacecraft engineers at Orbital Sciences Corporation and propulsion engineers at SpaceX. Princeton Satellite Systems' Vice President started as an intern after her freshman year at MIT!
